About Tesa Saulmon, LMHC, CSAT
Child of God. Wife. Mother. Therapist. Wounded Healer.
You’re not here because life has been simple. Neither am I.
Most people come to therapy when they’ve reached a breaking point—but it’s rarely because of just one thing. It’s the accumulation of heartache, grief that lingers under the surface, patterns you don’t know how to stop repeating, and relationships that leave you feeling lonely even when you’re not alone.
I understand that because I’ve lived it.
I’m not a therapist who sits behind a wall of clinical language or rehearsed responses.
I show up as a human first—someone who knows what it’s like to wrestle with loss, to question everything you thought you could count on, and to long for deeper connection but feel stuck in old survival strategies.
The Work I Do
I specialize in helping people heal from attachment wounds, grief, betrayal trauma, and compulsive cycles of disconnection.
That might look like:
The ache of never feeling “chosen” in childhood or relationships
Complicated grief—losses that aren’t always seen or named by others
The exhaustion of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or emotional shutdown
Spiritual wounds, especially when faith has been used to silence pain
The fallout of betrayal, infidelity, or addiction—whether you’re the one who was hurt or the one who caused the harm
The confusing, cyclical patterns that keep you stuck, even when you know better
My Approach
I believe healing is both sacred and practical.
I don’t offer spiritual bypassing or surface-level advice.
Instead, I sit with you in the complexity of your story, helping you untangle what’s been too overwhelming to face alone.
Together, we’ll work to:
Understand your nervous system and why you respond the way you do
Process grief that’s been pushed aside for too long
Learn how to set boundaries without guilt
Reconnect to yourself, God, and the people who matter most (safely and at your own pace)
Build new patterns of trust, love, and attachment—from the inside out
A Little More About Me
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), wife, mother, and someone who believes deeply in the power of honest, compassionate connection.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me drinking coffee on my back porch, playing with my kids, in the garden, reading something that makes me think a little deeper, or spending time with the people I love—often in the messy, real-life moments where true healing happens.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers. But I will sit with you in the hard places, help you make sense of the patterns, and guide you toward hope and change that feels real and sustainable.
Let’s Begin This Work Together
Whether you’re carrying grief, stuck in relational pain, or simply longing to live in a way that feels more connected and whole, you’re welcome here.
You don’t have to do this alone.
